Fifteen minutes from Boulder, Richard built his one-of-a-kind 1,500s.f. home with panoramic views of the wilderness at 7,600 feet, below Sugarloaf Mountain, overlooking Dream Canyon & the Lost Angel granite cliffs above Boulder Falls. It reads like a fairy tale — it feels like that too — see the guest comments. This peaceful, open concept, 1 level home; is fully enveloped by the Roosevelt National Forest is a relaxing, get-away-from-it-all place. He now spends summers in Brazil with his love. The tranquility of the home and its location is so serene and peaceful it will leave you completely relaxed. A great place for a staycation or work from home. Feel the grandeur from each window — mountains, the continental divide, cliffs, sunrises, sunsets, and the intensity of stars (remember the Milky Way?). Search “The most beautiful rock climbing spots near Boulder” and you’ll see the cliffs in the front yard. We have added blackout curtains in the two bedrooms. An outdoor dining table gives a ringside seat to the rock climbers, occasional slack-liners, and the abundant wildlife that passes through the property. Hummingbirds, Moose, Deer, Fox, Coyotes, Golden Eagles, Bears (rarely), and Elk (seasonal). Feel the quiet mingling with the soothing sounds of North Boulder Creek. One level, flagstone floors, 2 bedrooms both have queen beds and blackout curtains, 2 bathrooms & a multi-purpose room (3rd bedroom, dining room, and/or office).
