Family owned and family built this paradise is completely sustainable, eco friendly and relaxing combing Colombian architecture with good ole Texas Southern hospitality. Richard Morgan Stewart built our Cafe in 1985 by hand in his spare time while he was teaching English in Bogota. Cafe la Huerta is almost completely handmade from reclaimed wood and stone from Bogota Colombian housing. Every detail has culture, sustainability and hospitality in mind. Even the cobblestone is made from stones pulled from the river that runs near the property. Your room sleeps 3 has a double size bed and a single size bed and bathroom. Breakfast is included in your stay and you have full access to the on site restaurant, and concierge. Organic farm to table restaurant-produce is grown on site or from the local community when possible. All recipes are curated by Richard Morgan Stewart who owns and built Cafe la Huerta in 1985 by hand. All meals are made to order and made from scratch. All breads, jams, marmalades, dressings and butters are made in house from scratch. Freebies included in your stay Delicious made to order breakfast!
