Built and managed in partnership with local residents, Bégué Lodge is an "off-grid" solidarity ecolodge on the barrier island of Dionewar in the Saloum Delta in Senegal. The 4 huts are built and furnished in the traditional style by local artisans, each equipped with a private bathroom and mosquito nets. Bégué Lodge offers a vacation experience where simple island life is in harmony with nature and a cultural exchange with the inhabitants of the delta.
