Secluded mountain home with great views yet all the advantages of being in town. Less than 1 mile from the Copper chair at Red River Ski Area and the river, is our 1400 square foot home surrounded by beautiful towering trees. We are pet friendly and have a large dog crate and fenced in backyard. For those remote workers or streaming needs, we have an excellent wifi with separate 2g & 5g channels. Red River is a charming ski in / ski out town with great restaurants, a brewery and winery. Great shopping too. We find it easy to park by 3 Bears Lodge or Copper King Lodge and get on the Copper chair to get to top of mountain. Lift tickets can also be purchased at the Copper chair and it’s easy in and out. Several roads lead to our house, some steeper than others. The road directly across from Mountain Shadows Lodge is the steepest. If you like a more gradual incline, Black Copper is a few roads closer to town and is a gradual climb. AWD vehicles should have no problem in winter months because the road are cleared but sometimes can get icy and snowy. Security deposit of $150 is required but will be returned if no damage is done.
