Newhall is a famous location for Western movies that started in the early 20th century . In Newhall we have the western movies Walk of Western Stars with famous actors like: Gene Autry, Roy Rogers, John Wayne, Tom Mix; darker characters also get downtown boot time: Jack Palance, Bruce Dern; leading ladies include Virginia Mayo and Jane Russell. At easily walking distance is The Melody Ranch that produced some of the best earely westerns this country ever produced. Our house and GH are built on Geen Autry's previous owned property that included the Melody Ranch. One of the best distraction parks: Six Flags Magic Mountain. Few hundred yards from the Masters University. Few miles to Castaic Lake. Less than an hour drive to the Pacific Ocean. Less than 2 miles away on Placerita Canyon in 1842 Francisco Lopez discovered the gold that started the big gold rush in California. Interested people could ride horses in our community. We have several miles of trails for hiking, biking, or simply walking. There are more but I would like you to discover them during your staying in our Guest House. The guests should have some transportation means, use a taxi or for immediate situations I could provide some service. We could make some trip arrangements in the situation the guests are not familiar with the area and transportation is required.
