The space This is truly a home away from home — I live here when it isn’t being shared with guests. The house is comfortable, personal, and set up for real living, not just short stays. I offer a Level 2 EV charger with a standard J1772 connector, at no additional fee for use between 10AM and 2PM (Solar), just let me know ahead of time and I'll leave the cable and connector out for you. I don't currently have a Tesla adapter but I'm getting one. (Ask, maybe I'll have it when you read this). The home is approximately 1,800 sq ft and includes 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room, family room, dining area, and a large kitchen. The primary bedroom features a California King four-poster bed, private bath, and walk-in shower. Two additional bedrooms include one with two twin beds and one with a queen bed, along with a second full bathroom. The kitchen is spacious with original oak cabinets and white tile, and is fully stocked with newer appliances including a dishwasher, microwave, stove, refrigerator, and Keurig. Coffee, sweeteners, and creamer are provided, along with plenty of dishes, cookware, and utensils. The dining room seats six, and the living room features a 75" TV. A pool table was recently added for guests to enjoy. The home is furnished with a mix of antique, vintage, and reproduction pieces, blending modern comfort with timeless character. Streaming services include Sling, Netflix, Paramount+, Hulu, HBO Max, Disney+, and Prime Video. Fast Wi-Fi is provided, along with a desk, Apple iMac, and color laser printer for guests who need a workspace. The backyard is very large, with a lawn area and compacted granite beyond — great for relaxing or spending time with dogs. There is a long private driveway for off-street parking. (The side yard is currently off-limits while new grass establishes.) I provide a curated list of things to do in Riverside, with direct links to local venues and attractions. House expectations: Only guests listed on the reservation may be on the property or stay overnight. If you’d like daytime visitors, please check with me in advance — I’m happy to discuss reasonable requests. For everyone’s safety, the home has a Ring doorbell and exterior security cameras monitoring entry points only. This is a well-cared-for home, and I ask guests to treat it with the same respect they would their own. Guest access You’ll be provided with a unique smart-lock access code prior to arrival for easy, self check-in. Guests have access to nearly the entire home. The garage, master bedroom closet, and hall closet are locked for owner storage; all other areas are fully available for your stay. The home is single-story with ground-level entry and no stairs. Doorways are extra wide, and the primary bathroom includes a walk-in shower. The original owner used a wheelchair, so the layout is especially open and accessible. Other things to note You may occasionally hear a faint train whistle in the distance, typically in the morning. Most guests don’t notice it, but very light sleepers may hear it. For safety and property protection, there are exterior security cameras only (no interior cameras). These monitor entry points and outdoor areas and may record activity. This is common for short-term rentals and helps ensure house rules are followed, including the policy on pre-approved visitors only. Dogs are welcome — well-behaved, friendly dogs only. This is my personal home, and I am a dog owner. While the house is thoroughly cleaned between stays, there may occasionally be a few stray dog hairs. If you have severe allergies or are uncomfortable with the possibility of minor pet hair, this may not be the best fit for you.
