Tucked away in the heart of Tubac, this apartment is as unique as the town. Formerly part of the Grumpy Gringo Fine Cigars store, this getaway is meant for stogie lovers. It is tastefully decorated with Spanish Colonial accents. and best of all, it is pet friendly. If you are sensitive to the smell of cigar tobacco, this might not be the best choice for you. The space This is a one-of-a kind Tubac experience. This property is in the heart of historic Tubac and within walking distance to art galleries, restaurants, museums and shops. And when you're done hitting the town, come back to Grumpy's, sit on the porch and puff away on a fine selection of cigars. The manager on duty will give you a quick 101 in Cigar Smoking. Plus, the regular characters can be pretty colorful! Do note this space does not have a stove or a kitchen sink, however microwave, toaster oven and coffee pot are all right there for your use. One wall of the apartment living area is adjacent to the cigar shop kitchen, allowing some noise to permeate the wall. Grumpy Gringo Cigars opens between 12 or 1 pm and closes at 6-7pm. It is closed on Sunday and Monday in the summer and on Monday during the winter. Guest access Private parking behind Grumpy Gringo's Fine Cigars store leads to the entry. We have a large lot on the property for extra parking. Our guests enjoy three outdoor patios including a barbecue grill and dining table and multiple chairs. And, if requested, guests are welcome to use the nearby washer/dryer. Other things to note There is no better location for birding, shopping and local art festivals. Step outside and you are in the middle of it all!
