Molino Maufet is an ancient watermill on Lake Como sustainably restored by our family and located in a quiet and panoramic village above the lake. Guests can choose from five independent accommodations with lake and/or garden views, all air-conditioned and equipped with Wi-Fi, with access to a large 4,000-square-meter (43,000-square-foot) communal garden featuring herbs, fruit trees, and a pergola with a barbecue. The space The accommodations at Molino Maufet are housed in a historic mill on Lake Como, nestled in the countryside and surrounded by a large garden covering over 4,000 square meters (43,000 square feet). The property is located in a scenic, hilly position, in a quiet and secluded setting, ideal for exploring both shores of Lake Como and also conveniently located for easy access to Switzerland, Valtellina, Valchiavenna, and Milan, all about an hour away, while staying away from the hustle and bustle of the busiest areas. Each apartment is independent and designed to offer privacy, comfort, and an authentic atmosphere, combining traditional charm with modern amenities. The spaces are structured as follows: • a cozy double bedroom • a living room with a fully equipped kitchen • A double sofa bed in the living room • a private bathroom with a window, shower, and washing machine • A private outdoor space (covered or uncovered patio, terrace, or balcony, with access to the garden) Each accommodation can sleep 2 to 4 people, making it ideal for both couples and families. Guest access Guests have access to the entire booked apartment, which is completely independent and for their exclusive use. Each unit has its own private outdoor space (patio, terrace, or balcony) and guests can freely use the Molino's large, equipped garden, shared with other guests, where they can relax among trees, green areas, and panoramic views. A BBQ area is also available for guests (the “Il Granaio” property also has a dedicated BBQ area). Access to the property is easy and takes place with an escort, and all instructions are provided before arrival. A personalized digital guide is also available for guests.
