Tranquil and enchanting get away located on 35 forested and meadowed acres with a creek and breathtaking waterfall. You can hear the ocean from the property and walking trails afford an ocean view. Individual suites are taylored for privacy, but still have access to all the common areas. Perfect for family reunions, weddings, parties, special interest groups, church retreats, business retreats. Taylor Creek Lodge is 6800 sq ft and sleeps up to 28 people, and the included tree house sleeps up to an additional four, so total sleeping arrangements for up to 32. The space is perfect for events, family reunions, weddings, parties, retreats and large special interest groups. There is plenty of parking and 1 RV space for additional sleeping (there is a max). Modern and rustic décor blended and completely furnished to include all linens, towels, toiletries. 10 bedrooms and a sleeping alcove and 3 large couches. At Taylor Creek Lodge, we have thought of relaxation and family centered activities and you will see this throught the Lodge and the grounds. Multiple coffee, tea and refreshment stations, as well as a nightly bonfire with s'mores. There is a orchard with fairy lights and benches and an arbor for weddings or gatherings and in the evenings we have a huge movie screen and play family friendly moves every night on the lawn too! Enjoy lawn games, horse shoes, our outdoor play area, gardens, hot tubs, and try your hand at gold panning in the creek. We have climbing ropes, slack line, trampoline, swings, old tractors to climb and play on. Our gameroom has air hockey, pool table, large assortment of board games and puzzles. New 2023 we have a 20x50 covered pergola for outdoor seating/ events. We also have rentals available for wedding& event needs. Full rental list available upon request. Daily maid service is included. We launder towels, any needed bed changes, vacuum main areas and restock refreshment areas. All guests at Taylor Creek Lodge have full access to our gym, sauna, hot tubs, decks, picnic areas, walking trails, western bar/kitchen/game room, guest laundry, 2 great rooms, 2 dining areas and parking. There are lots of fun things to do right here at the lodge. Trampoline, climbing ropes, slack line, nightly bonfire with s'mores, gold panning station with supplies to borrow or purchase, botchie balls, horseshoes, lots of board games, pool table, air hockey, gaming console, kitchen garden with a green house. There is a chicken house with a group of "working girls" you can help gather eggs or feed them if you like. There are also horses on the property. Hosts Dale and Rachel live on the property, but not in the lodge. We are available for local recommendations for things to do or resturants to visit. We are pretty social, but if you just want to keep to yourselves, thats okay we understand thats what you need, just give us a heads up. Taylor Creek Lodge is situated on 35 acres, yet is in city limits and a quick 2 minute drive to the beach or to town for shopping and dining options. Very private and secluded, yet close to town. You can hear the ocean most days. We are very protected in our valley from the wind. great country roads to jog on and quick access to forest service roads and wilderness too. You really will need to drive to town or any destinations from here. There are really good back roads for the motivated runners or cyclists! There is a local taxi service for those that would need it, and in a pinch, we have transported stranded guests. If you need special dietary consideration, just let us know; vegan, vegetarian, allergy. Pets are allowed per Taylor Creek Lodge's pet policy and there is a seperate pet fee. There is a total of 4 dogs maximum and NO CATS, exotics or small animals. Lodge must know in advance if there will be dogs. Dogs can onlystay in the Cedar or Myrtle suites as per Taylor Creek Lodge's pet policy and must be leashed when in kcommon areas. No dogs in the commercial kitchen or dining areas as this is a certified kitchen that we prepare breakfast in. Guest can not use the commercial kitchen, but have full acces to the kitchen in the gameroom/bar for exclusive use. Treehouse waivers must be signed by all guests. NO guest under the age of 12 can stay in the treehouse due to insurance policy. NO PETS allowed in the treehouse, NO EXCEPTION. With full facility bookings, you can opt to have the lodge provide breakfast for you for an added cost, and or we can add other meals like lunch, dinner, or snacks. Lunch and dinners are through local caterers and we can help set that up for your group. We can arrange for local cateres to cater events, or bring in hosted bars.
