Hiker Cabin-On the river and by the Creeper Trail

*A GUEST Favorite* Awesome river front cabin ON The Creeper Trail - gorgeous partially covered porch, with gates on the porch for children/pets. A kitchen and dining/living area with large sliding glass door facing the river, one bedroom with a queen-sized bed, and one full bathroom with a stand up shower stall. Boasts a well-stocked kitchen, a huge gas grill, oven, central heat and AC, Smart TV, and Wi-Fi. No dishwasher!! The space At Laurel Run Cabins your hosts strive to create a 'home away from home' atmosphere. The cozy and charming Hiker cabin has a warm wood interior, sweet country décor, and an unbeatable river view. The kitchen has everything you need to make basic meals, and is equipped with a full sized fridge/freezer, microwave, oven/electric stove, paper towels, dish soap, spices, cooking oil, foil/saran, ziplock bags, coffee and filters, tea, creamer and sweeteners. When you walk out the sliding glass door to the porch, a set of six or eight broad steps pours down towards the river, perfect for lounging in the sun. Half of the porch is covered for outdoor enjoyment in rainy weather. There is a full sized gas grill, a bar-height table for two, a picnic table for 6-8, and some folding chairs to take down to the river. When it's warm outside, the property offers great river access for fishing, swimming and kayaking (bring towels and river shoes!) This cabin is PET FRIENDLY with a $60 per pet charge. Every cabin is professionally and thoroughly cleaned between each stay. Guest access Guests in all of the cabins are welcome to use the outdoor space around the cabins including the fire pits and river frontage all the way down to the bridge, but we ask that you respect the privacy of the main house on the opposite side of the property. Be aware that guest from all our cabins all share the river frontage, so you may see them near your cabin as they enjoy the river too. Other things to note -DO NOT WEAR BIKING/HIKING footwear in the cabin if it has spikes or hard bottoms. This will scar the floor and incur fees to repair it. -PET OWNERS- please thoroughly read our pet policy in 'House Rules' before booking and reach out with any questions. -PLASTIC SNAKES are nailed to the deck to deter birds from visiting, please warn the other guests that they aren't real :) -SWIMMING AND KAYAKING- we ask that you bring your own towels for the river, and strongly recommend that you wear river shoes. All water activities are presumed to be at your own risk. -HWY 58- is the road running the length of the property. It's a two lane highway that gets medium traffic during daylight hours, and very little at night. This has only come up a couple of times in hundreds of reviews, and genuinely doesn't detract from the riverside cabin experience. Light sleepers are provided with earplugs in the medicine cabinet.
