The space Sit atop the hill and enjoy the stunning view of the Rockford Dam. Your 2nd story apartment features your own full kitchen, king-sized bed, pull-out sofa, and private bathroom with step in shower. Kitchen including stove, microwave, refrigerator, Keurig Coffee maker with a variety of coffees. Kayle has been known to make cookies on occasion so be on the lookout for those! Take advantage of high-speed Wi-Fi and AppleTV. If you need to get a little work done, enjoy our roll-top desk, and a laser printer is available upon request. Free off-street parking for 2 cars. We invite you to relax in our quiet backyard surrounded by trees, make use of our gas grill or hang out on our front patio for people-watching and some delicious take-out dining. Bring your bikes and store them in our secure garage so you can enjoy the White Pine Trail just down the hill from our home. Right outside your door, enjoy our cute shops, inviting restaurants, coffee, ice cream, and candy treats, the Fred Meijer White Pine Trail, and minutes from Grand Rapids. Suzy is a true Rockford Ram and Kayle adopted Rockford as his own more than two decades ago. We live right next door. We like to chat but will let you enjoy your stay without hovering over you! OUR COMMUNITY A 5-minute walk to Rockford Brewing Company, The Corner Bar, & Rogue River Tavern, as well as our unique locally owned tea, coffee, cheese, & yarn shops. Easy stroll to the bowling alley & pinball arcade. Casual 12-minute bike ride on the White Pine Trail to Third Nature Brewing Company. Convenient 20-minute drive to downtown Grand Rapids, or bike it in under an hour on the White Pine Trail. Grab a taco from F n K Tacos or sushi from Kawa Sushi Bar and Grill. Perhaps an oven-fired pizza from Marinades, or upscale dining at Grill 111. Walk over to Epilogue Books and pick up something to read while you're here. Grab a frozen custard or ice cream cone and enjoy a walk on the year-round White Pine Trail state park and take in the views, wildlife, waterfowl and more.  Delicious coffee and homemade candies wait for you at Sweetland Candy, Quickwater Coffee & Herman’s Boy while you stroll through town and enjoy Rockford. Enjoy some of the best biking trails in West Michigan. Nearby lakes, parks, and golf courses provide abundant entertainment options.  Kayak and fish on our state designated "Country Scenic" Rogue River. For the sports minded, The West Michigan Whitecaps Baseball Field is just 8 miles away and the Meijer Sports Complex with multiple athletic fields is just 3 minutes down the road. A quick 10-mile drive to the Frederick Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park. Devos Hall, Van Andel Arena, and more in Grand Rapids are just a 20-minute drive away. After a full day, enjoy a peaceful night in your own private apartment with the sound of the dam lulling you to sleep. Or hop in your car for a convenient 20-minute drive to big city night life.
