The space Large 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with expansive living space. - Quiet, peaceful, but close by to ocean, walking trails, local wildlife abound around the apartment in the evening and birds buzz it all day long. We have made the most of both stunning sea and valley views plus easy accessible and enjoyable for whatever mobility guests have. 6 star energy rated, double glazed large windows and a great aspect to protect and bring in the winter sunshine yet shade from summer sun. American River has a mild climate and avoids the really hot Australian summer weather plus the really cold winters due to the sea currents and weather patterns. The apartment has large rooms, large wide doors, and is built for most guests ambulatory needs. It has Jarrah floors, airconditioning, ceiling fans, and set high up to capture sea, sky and valley views from all directions. It just soaks in the winter sun yet is shaded from Summer day heat. A fully setup kitchen with fan forced oven. gas cooktop, convection microwave, dishwasher and good size fridge. Great to eat in as well as having places in walking distance to also eat out. You can order food in or pre book and walk 300m to another very good local restaurant. We have enjoyed building this with a clear aim to make it the best for our guests. Gardens are designed to encourage local bird life and Wallabies, Kangaroos, Echidnas, Goannas to linger longer. Space to spread out inside and relax in comfortable chairs, watch the big screen smart TV with internet access, maybe a wine and nibbles after a day out enjoying the pristine and unspoilt Island. Guest access Access by a short 6metre sky bridge from the car parking space and you are in another world amongst the tree tops. You will have the only first floor tree top apartment for your sole use with your own private entry via a sky bridge, car parking and sheltered deck area for watching the birds and animals move around. We use a totally separate section approx 20 metres away and down the hill --- A neighbour helps with settling in, and local knowledge of the area when we are travelling the world ourselves. Other things to note The Island is still pretty much an 'outback' area of Australia with not much in the way of services and shopping apart from the main township. If you have medicines and foods that you need or even just wish to enjoy during your stay then its best to bring them with you. We can help find them for you as well if you forget something.
