My Partner and I offer this 500 sq foot Solar house. It's self contained, secluded, quiet and secure. There are 5 dogs in the Main house but they use a doggie door to come and go. You might see them wandering the property but they have never been in the little house so if you have any allergies this should not be an issue for you. The hens and ducks are fenced on the back of the property. PLEASE --- Send (with words) a Check-In "Time" with your FIRST communication. The space Although we have always diligently cleaned between every guest we are now wiping down ALL surfaces and disinfecting per CDC guidelines including fogging with recommended viricide. The Guest House is completely aired out before and after each reservation also as directed by the CDC. We are at the edge of the city proper, so there is a country-like atmosphere. You will find chickens (about 12 Hens and 1 rooster) on this property and randomly around the neighborhood. We also have 12 ducks. There are horses along the arroyo and even a Donkey down the street. We are just 13 minutes from the Airport, 11 from Downtown and Old Town. There is a comfy regular couch in the living room if you have booked a third guest, it’s only 5.00 more. If you do decide to use the couch for any reason, please ask for linens and pillows and anticipate a 5.00 cost per night. Do NOT sleep in the Recliner. Be sure to review the location in the posted picture and what Air BnB presents. While GPS, Internet Maps, Paper Maps and Navigators will get you here just fine, we don’t want you disappointed by the location. Everyone that stays here loves the rural feeling while still being close to the city. You will feel you have driven to Mexico but the neighborhood is safe and comfortable. We have great neighbors that are friendly and considerate. It's a comfortable oasis. Guest access You will be graciously greeted while maintaining social distancing guidelines for everyone’s safety but we are a phone call or text away if needed or knock on our front door. You would enter through the front gate and follow the path made of pavers to the right of the main house. Your code to your door will be the same as the last four digits of your provided phone number. You come and go as you please, the place is yours. Other things to note You will notice we have a clear face picture of ourselves in our profile so you will know who you are staying with. Please have the same of yourself - - - on your profile - - - before booking and ensure it matches your government ID photo. No Local quests less than 2 nights please. The cats kinda run the place and are very chatty and social. They may “ask” to come into the house with you, be strong, No Animals go in there. The dog may also try to enter the guest house, also no. The chickens and ducks (about 21 Hens, 12 ducks and 1 Rooster) are fenced in the rear of the yard but are just outside the bedroom window to watch, they don't mind visitors if you want go through the gate to say “Hi”. Your Check-In window begins at 2:00 pm and ends at 9:00pm … ==================================================== Please send (type out in words) your expected arrival time in your first communication allowing for possible time changes, pit stops, construction etc. (Do NOT use the Air BnB Drop Down arrival indicators, or Radio Buttons they are not reliable) If your check in will be after 9:00pm due to circumstances outside your control let us know, bu asking/checking WELL IN ADVANCE and we’ll see if we can work it out. In all cases please try to stick to what you tell us so we can also plan a productive day/evening. ==================================================== We have three listings and are not a Hotel with someone waiting at a front desk, so your help in coordinating is VERY much appreciated, we all have busy schedules, especially you that are traveling. No Smoking/Vaping or stoves of any kind. No Pets, No Children 21 or under, (if you are a younger couple or single traveler under 21, just let us know so we can work with you). No Drugs or Parties. It's a quiet neighborhood and we like to do our part to keep it that way. We’re also trying to keep the house scent free. That seems to be what most of our guests want as well. Animals Living here - - - - - - - If you are afraid of, allergic to, can not be around or can not be touched by ... Dogs or Cats, Pause here and please THINK TWICE. Our 5 dogs and 2 cats love people and have met Hundreds of Guests with not even one incident. (Chickens and Ducks are sequestered in the back yard). If you cannot deal with friendly dogs... do NOT Rent here, please keep looking. If you show up here and have a problem with our dogs due to any of the above, we will not "lock them up" ... you will have to find other accommodations.
