The space Ocean, island and downtown views are available from the Master suite with french doors opening onto a fabulous entertainment deck with sofa sectional and dining for six with gas weber grill. Surrounded on all sides by a lovely fenced garden, views of roses, fruit trees, wisteria and succulents can be seen along with a gorgeous Mediterranean fountain, not to mention a small pond with fountain greeting one by the front door. The comfortable, well-stocked kitchen with Viking stove, Bosch dishwasher, Subzero refrigerator, filtered water, Nespresso machine, granite countertops and bar, make cooking and entertaining a joy. The traditional dining room includes a period dining table with seats for six. An original, hand-hewn Santa Barbara sandstone hearth with a gas-lit fire warms the comfortable living room with a large flat screen smart tv with Roku and Youtubetv. The house enjoys the fastest internet available. Vintage sconces, chandeliers, hardwood floors and french doors lend grace and charm throughout. There is a detached one-car garage used for laundry, sports gear and storage only, with an off-street parking spot in front of it. Although many park in the driveway, the angled driveway encourages parking on the street which is plentiful and free. Located on a quiet street, this house is a private gem. It is tucked down off the street with gardens on all sides. Once one is inside, the home opens up its charms with classic appointments and stunning views. From the front living room the pretty front garden can be seen. From the back of the home, the large deck inspires with its panoramic views of the islands, Pacific ocean, downtown courthouse, Arlington theatre, harbor mouth and to the right views of the Mesa. The afternoon sun sets over the deck creating orange-infused vistas through the trees. The master bedroom enjoys beautiful views of the Channel Islands and Pacific, trees, birds, homes of Santa Barbara and downtown. The outdoor sofa is an extension of the master through its three french doors. Indoor/outdoor living is truly at its finest here. The guest bedroom with its ensuite bathroom is located off the living room and is far from the master bedroom. This space between the two bedrooms and bathrooms lends privacy and is perfect for couples, families and friends. The guest bedroom enjoys the front patio, only steps away, for sipping coffee in the morning, listening to the fountain and birdwatching. Guest access Guests have access to the front garden, pond & patio, garage for dedicated laundry & storage and the fabulous entertainment view deck off of the kitchen and master bedroom, which are also private and dedicated spaces for them. The back garden below and side gardens can be seen and enjoyed from the upstairs view deck. The dining room also has a lovely view of the side garden with fruit trees & flowers. Other things to note There is one quiet professional that lives in a separate suite located off the garden below towards the back of the property with its own gate, walkway and private entrance from the street. Many people have commented that even after a month stay, they haven't heard or seen this person.
