Many places are down long narrow lanes hard to access. The setting is tranquil and is not suited to large groups and I totally reject the big party crowd . It is a quality retreat to have great fun. The suite is three ample bedrooms with two complete bathrooms. The extended dock is Ten Feet Wide - Essentially a Water Deck Shallow Dive or Ladder access to swimming. There is a small sand beach that is ideal for setting off in canoes or kayaks and great for small children to paddle about in the water and sand . The fishing is top notch with a boat launch at the end of the lane and a dock suitable for a 16-18 foot boat. The furnishings are all very nice and the kitchen is fully complete - The dining room view is exceptional all day into the evening for enjoying the stars . Dishes - Linens - Towels - Soaps/Shampoos are all provided as well as condiments - cooking oils - spices - pots pans etc. I provide glass and china for inside and high quality plastic for outside including the deck. This is for safety to avoid injury. Please no glass on the deck or grounds .. I have very nice metal mugs for tea / coffee on the deck or grounds and dock. I have wood on hand for those who desire a fire (at a small fee) For those arriving with a boat, there is power to the dock. Guest access The space is part of a larger structure and is fully self contained and private I do live on site and respect guest privacy although many invite me to chat around the fire - Your own entrance and deck area - BBQ etc. I always have wood on hand ( not free but here) It is also available across the road at the coffee shop .. The water is at hand - A boat launch is moments away. The newly extended dock will handle boats up to twenty feet easily - Bring your own kayak or canoe or make arrangements to rent across the road at the nearby facilities I will connect you to them if needed. Other things to note Access to the property is very easy - Seven minutes from the 401 highway and 200 meres off County Rd 3 makes your arrival easy - There is good grocery shopping nearby as well as the LCBO and great Ice Cream stand at the end of the lane - They also do French Fries - and Chip truck items as well as a great breakfast .. The 1000 Islands are just minutes away and a cruise is really a great excursion and if you consider that, please speak to me before you select the boat line and location as they offer different packages you need to consider...
