Boasting commanding views along Main Beach to the Gold Coast, and overlooking the Coral Sea, Whale Watch Ocean Beach Resort offers 40 expansive, fully self-contained holiday apartments at Point Lookout on North Stradbroke Island. Each style of apartment within the complex has a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and dryer, flat screen tv and lounge and dining areas as well as balconies and undercover car parking. Guests are welcome to make the most of our well-equipped fitness center, games room, heated outdoor pool, spa pool and barbecue area. With varying aspects of the pristine natural environment within the grounds and surrounding the resort, Whale Watch is a safe haven for local fauna, like the kangaroos, curlews and bandicoots who frequent the grounds every day to the delight of our guests. Watch whales from your balcony and the headlands from June to November and enjoy the ever-changing seascapes all year round. North Stradbroke Island is accessed by vehicle ferry or passenger water taxi from Cleveland in Brisbane, and we are conveniently located near the impressive Gorge Walk and Point Lookout Surf Club on Main Beach. These apartments offer ocean glimpses from the balconies, generally they overlook the National Park that surrounds the resort on the Southern Side. Please note that ocean views vary between apartments—some enjoy more than others, while others capture only partial glimpses or focus primarily on the National Park, ensuring every guest finds their own perfect slice of paradise. Our Premium National Park View Apartments offer full size kitchen facilities including dishwasher, microwave, cook top and oven and are generously appointed. They have large lounge and dining areas, and views from the generous balconies over the adjacent national park bushland. Apartments have at least one AC either in the main living area or master bedroom. Some apartments have two AC's. All of our apartments at Whalewatch Ocean Beach Resort are a three bedroom, two bathroom configuration. The master bedroom has an ensuite. with a walk-in wardrobe. The master bedroom has a queen or king bed, a queen bed and two singles in the other bedrooms. These apartments can be up to three floors to walk up to access the great views.
