Chill vibe & unique - like the rest of OB :) Lots of outdoor living; dining area w/ grill, lounge area with fire-pit. Beach gear! Walk to Beach, in OB! The space We fell in love with this little beach bungalow in 2012 & have been making improvements ever since. The location is perfect! Close enough to the beach, but far enough from the crazy 'war zone'. It is also perfectly located uphill, so the view from the deck to the ocean is only obstructed with palm trees! How cool?! Our favorite evening spot in OB is on our deck, watching the sunset :) During the day it's great to stroll to the beach or ride bikes to a local restaurant. We recently remodeled the entire home, including new deck and outdoor staircase. We are thoughtful about the environment, consumption and chemicals. We try our best to be as 'chemical free' as we can (with the exception of bleach for linens in between guests). We have converted to a tankless hot-water heater and solar panels. All bed linens are made of bamboo and many of the paper products are too. We strive for Happy, Healthy guests & planet. NOTE: 1 King Bed AND 1 Queen Pullout Couch - sleeps 4 Guest access Guests will have access to the home, yard, awesome rooftop level deck, and driveway for parking. Guests will have access to beach chairs, umbrella & towels. Other things to note Street sweeping in front of house every Friday & across the street every Wednesday. You can park in driveway. If you have multiple vehicles & park on street, please move your car to the appropriate side from the hours of 7:30-10:30am, otherwise you will likely be ticketed. All of Ocean Beach & Point Loma are very close to the San Diego Airport ... it is the closest beach town to the airport, which makes it very convenient for travel, but unfortunately the planes can take some getting used to. The airport regulates travel, so there are no planes between hours of 10pm & 6am. If people are outside chatting, they wait a minute - its called the Point Loma Pause :) It is not a problem for us, but we had a renter who had a hard time, so I wanted to share as a FYI. Our home is just about a 10 minute drive to/from airport, but the plane sounds are not just at our house, rather all of Ocean Beach & Point Loma, so maybe wise to choose a different area of San Diego if you are sensitive to noise.
