This cottage is a three bed, two bath with a screened porch in a quiet, low density community. The Rookery is located adjacent to the Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge. The beach is just a short walk away (0.4 miles) but you can rent a golf cart from nearby rentals if you would like to rent one during your stay. The marina, boat dock, restaurants, a small market for forgotten items, and 2 championship golf courses, Kiva Dunes and Peninusula, are close by. Historic Fort Morgan is only 4.5 miles away where you can explore the history of the fort and then catch the ferry over to Dauphin Island. Gulf Shores is only 15 miles away, where there are a variety of activities for you, family, and friends such as restaurants, shopping, mini golf, water and amusement parks, live music, and much more. At the Rookery you are far enough away from the hustle and bustle to appreciate the tranquility of the area, but still close enough to enjoy all the great attractions that Gulf Shores has to offer.
