Cottage in Newport Beach

Our Charming beach cottage is clean and close to everything that makes Newport Beach spectacular. Enjoy the luxury and privacy of a house all to yourself - no shared walls, spaces, or shared parking. An easy 3 min walk to the sand, shops, cafes, and dining. Perfect set-up for a family of 4, or for a couple wanting to wind down by the beach. Onsite parking for one car. Beach towels/chairs, toys, a wagon and an umbrella for guest use. Minimum Rental Age is 25 yrs old. The space This cottage was built in 1930 and is one of the few original cottages situated on the Newport Beach peninsula. It boasts red clay tiles on the roof and a white exterior true to California Spanish style homes. We renovated the home to include modern upgrades adding comfort and style while still keeping the charm of an old California surf bungalow. Some of the updated features include hardwood floors throughout, dutch door, and an open concept. There are plenty of windows to allow sunshine to brighten the space. The kitchen is open concept and allows plenty of space to prepare food and share a meal at the dining room table with bench seating. The kitchen is stocked with spices, olive oil for cooking, a full set of cookware, cutlery, and drink ware. Bedroom 1: Queen size bed with access to the bathroom Bedroom 2: Twin bed trundle set-up (perfect for young children) also has access to the bathroom. We offer a pack n'play for babies or toddlers and we can set this up upon request. We also have an extra stroller for toddlers available for your use. The patio allows space to dine al fresco and includes a BBQ grill. We provide beach towels, beach chairs, beach toys, extra bath towels. Guest access Enjoy the Spanish Cottage all to yourself. Guests will have access to the entire place. This private bungalow is not attached to any other unit. The property includes a designated parking space behind the house, access to kitchen amenities, laundry room, central air/heat and a spacious front patio for lounging and enjoying the beach lifestyle. The front patio will comfortably accommodate 4 guests with access to a BBQ and patio table with chairs for outside casual dining. Other things to note • Please note that the city of Newport Beach charges a Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) charged to the guest, which is 10%. • During the Summer months (June-August), we require a 6 night minimum with a check in on either Saturday or Sunday, and a trip duration that does not break up a week. Please inquire for further details regarding bookings for the Summer. • We welcome guests recuperating from procedures performed at Hoag Hospital. We run a pet and dander free listing. Therefore, no pets of any kind are allowed on the premises at any time. The location of the cottage is perfectly situated between the boardwalk, dining and shopping. The cottage is located less than 2 blocks away from the sand, a short walk to the pier, bay, and restaurants/bars are within a quick stroll. Explore Lido Marina Village where you can dine at upscale eateries like Nobu or more casual venues like Malibu Farm or Bear Flag.
