Highly recommended are Ethanology Distillery, BOS winery, Short's Pullbarn, and Townline Ciderworks for libations. 25 minutes to the wineries of Old Mission Peninsula, 25 minutes to Shanty Creek, 15 minutes to Grand Traverse Resort golf courses, A-Ga-ming golf course, and Lochenheath. Elk Lake Estate is a wonderful home base. Welcome to Elk Lake Estate - A perfect gathering place for family and friends, sleeping up to 22 people in 14 beds! Situated on over an acre, with 195' of private Elk Lake frontage, your waterfront paradise awaits. Bachelor and bachelorette groups are welcome. Family reunions, special vacations, retreats, conferences, Elk Lake Estate is a nice fit with two kitchens and a snack bar (3 full sized refrigerators). Small weddings are considered, please message with details. 5000sqft, 6 bedrooms, 4 with ensuite baths, 1 shared bath, 1 shower room. 14 beds total, 3 king, 3 queen, 4 full, 4 twin. Indoor and outdoor seating for lounging or dining with 22 people. Sand Volleyball court, outdoor games, firepit (firewood on site), propane grill, game room with pool table, basketball, and more games. Outdoor Barrel Sauna!!! Elk Lake is a clear, glacier lake. We have a sandy lake bottom with stone break wall. Mid-May through Mid-September we have a 100' dock with a 10x20 dock patio over the water. Also provided is a 4000# boat lift, 4000# pontoon lift, and jet ski moorings during the summer. Mid-June the swim raft goes in the water and is anchored 200' off shore. 4 adult sit on top kayaks, 2 kids kayaks, to get ready for lake fun. There are a few lifejackets, but you may want to bring your own, wearing lifejackets is recommended for all water activities (especially for children). Beach towels are provided! Lakefront living is wonderful and comes with all that nature provides - even bugs - come prepared to enjoy the outdoors. Plans can change, travel insurance is recommended. Please be considerate of neighbors by observing quiet hours of 11pm to 8am. Parking for 8 vehicles in the driveway, only empty boat trailers may be parked on grass.
