The space We live in a beautiful and spacious home (400 square meters) in the Palermo neighborhood. The house, built in 1898, has the traditional architecture of old Buenos Aires known as a "casa chorizo." There are a total of seven large rooms, six of which are available for travelers. Guests share a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy dining area, a lovely patio with a grill, and a 150-square-meter rooftop terrace with a wooden deck—perfect for sunbathing, playing foosball, or just enjoying the outdoors! All rooms for rent include a private bathroom, wardrobe, desk, heating, air conditioning, and Wi-Fi. They are all very spacious and feature double beds. Matías is the host at La Casa de Bulnes. He’s 30 years old, passionate about meeting new people, and loves discovering new cultures and lifestyles. He’ll be happy to help you with anything you need during your stay in our beautiful city. Palermo is a trendy neighborhood full of culture, with restaurants, steakhouses, sushi bars, vegetarian food, nightlife, and more. Guest access The kitchen is very well equipped and is available 24 hours. Given that it is shared, it’s important to keep it clean and wash EVERYTHING that is used. We offer an industrial size refrigerator with plenty of space for each room. The kitchen is located off a picturesque and authentic patio with a grill which serves as the heart of the house. Upstairs, there is a massive rooftop terrace (150 sq meters) with a wood deck covered with plants and a “winter garden” which we use as a living, TV, and reading room. We offer a room cleaning service three times per week and a weekly change of sheets and towels. During your stay At La Casa de Bulnes, Matías is the main host, ensuring that your stay is as comfortable as possible. Although both Matías and I have other commitments that take up part of our day, Matías lives in the house, which allows him to be available in the mornings, as well as in the afternoons and evenings, to assist you with anything you might need. From the moment you arrive, during the check-in process, we set up a communication group to stay in touch throughout your stay. This ensures that if Matías isn’t at the house when you need something, you’ll always have a quick way to reach us. Matías is a thoughtful and welcoming person who enjoys meeting travelers and is always happy to share a conversation or a glass of wine in the kitchen. His goal is to make you feel at home, striking the perfect balance between being helpful and respecting your privacy. Other things to note VERY IMPORTANT: -The house is located on the first floor, up one flight of stairs and, therefore, is not apt for people with motor difficulties. -This is an old, restored FAMILY HOME with rooms for rent, NOT A HOTEL. For that reason, we do not recommend this house for people who expect the amenities and comfort that a hotel may offer (for example, 24 hour reception desk attention).
