The Black Boy Inn

The Black Boy Inn is a collection of several properties Black Boy Inn, Black Jack’s, Trw Du, Ty Dre and Letty Suites. All our rooms are only accessible by stairs (except for the Easy Access rooms) there are no elevators in any of our properties. The properties have been updated to a high standard while retaining their unique character with handmade furniture, quality fittings and local traditional building materials. The Black Boy Inn is the main building, one of North Wales's oldest inns and dates back to 1522. Located within Caernarfon's historic town walls, it is an easy walk within the town center and the 13th-century castle You'll find a cozy atmosphere with thick stone walls (1.2 to 4.9 feet) low ceilings, creaking floorboards and narrow staircases. All other buildings are within 100 yards of the main Inn or within the courtyard area. The Inn is known for its warm welsh welcome, hearty welsh food and craft beers served in front of roaring log fires. Please check room type before booking, the description will inform you which building the room is located e.g A Ty Dre standard room will be located in the Ty Dre building. Black Jacks Suite Double - Located in Black Jacks, a separate building across the courtyard of The Black Boy Inn, with queen-size bed and private bathroom. Bathrooms have a bath and a shower head above. These rooms contain original features such as sash windows. This suite has a small kitchenette with a dining table and chairs amenities include a 42-inch flat screen LCD TV, complimentary Wi-Fi, hairdryer, desk, iron, ironing board, deep mattress, linen, towels, toiletries and a hospitality tray. Rooms are on various floor levels with stairs; we do not have any elevators.
