The city's monument protection ensures solid construction with wooden windows and clay bricks; we ourselves pay attention to natural materials and have used Brandenburg pine for the floors and weatherproof larch wood for the courtyard facade. Clay plaster and half-timbering (even the newly restored one is traditionally connected only by wooden pins!) ensure an authentic living experience. On the first floor there is a wood-burning stove. The central heating is fed in a very modern way from the solar system plus gas. The space Töpferhof 1 has a cozy combined kitchen/living area on the first floor. The cozy courtyard, which Töpferhof 1 shares with Töpferhof 2, invites you to linger. Bicycles can also be safely stored here. Other things to note Regarding the parking situation (if you arrive by car): You cannot park in Töpferstr., because it is too narrow for that. (The entrance to Töpferstr. is only possible from Neue Straße and you can only stop briefly at the house to unload.) In case of doubt, you can easily switch to Lindenstr. beyond the city wall. The large parking lot at Tangerhafen is also ideal, which is within walking distance via Steigberg approx. 5 minutes away.
