The space Heydons House is a lovingly maintained, high quality cottage to rent in an enviable location in the heart of Sidmouth. The beauty of Heyons House is that it is set in a peaceful area yet within a 3 minute level walk of the sea front and town centre. It is tucked away at the end of a quiet no-through road, yet everything you could possibly need is within walking distance. Importantly it offers its own small parking space by way of an integral garage. Being furnished to a very comfortable standard throughout, the accommodation is spacious and versatile. There are 3 main bedrooms but also a 4th room off the master bedroom, that is in essence a dressing room but has a single bed (with further pull out) so can be used as a 4th single or twin bedroom. Please see the Floor Plan in the photos for more details. The layout of the cottage will also suit couples who just like a little more space and quality. The lovely country style kitchen was completely refurbished in Feb 2023 and consists of an oven, hob, table and chairs From here patio doors lead to the private and sunny courtyard. Other things to note Bedroom 4 is an occasional bedroom - off the master bedroom - commonly used as a dressing area. If has a single bed with a further single that pulls out from underneath. Saturday to Saturday changeovers (7 night durations only) during the summer school holidays, although should you see shorter gaps / different changeover days, please do enquire. The Airbnb website only allows us to tick a box to show that "bed linen, pillows and towels" are included. Please note, whilst we supply full bed linen, we do not supply towels. Please see reviews regarding access to the garage. The garage can hold all sizes of cars, but manoeuvring into the space can be tricky due to the narrowness of the lane. However, with 3 or 4 turns you can get a decent sized car into the garage. Otherwise there is free parking on nearby roads. Please bear in mind that due to the excellent location of the cottage, once parked, unless you are going out of Sidmouth you won't need to use it again! (Note: there is room to the side of the cottage to temporarily park if dropping off bags etc) The Aga in the kitchen is for decorative purposes only and is not connected.
