Galician House - Country Retreat

Casa da Galega is a traditional house at the centre of Golegã, the Lusitanu's Horse capital! For 23 years this house was the hideaway of a very well-known Norwegian sculpture Arne Vinje Gunnerud! During a visit to Golegã Arne became good friends with Mestre Martins Correia, a local artist. Although modest, this house offers two comfortable bedrooms, a nice living room with a kitchenette and one bathroom. Outside, the patio with a lovely porch is the perfect spot to enjoy sunny days! The space While staying at Casa da Galega you can visit the village and it’s museums, visit Lusitanu’s breeders, enjoy horseback riding, visit the Natural Park Paúl do Boquilobo or even visit the neighboring cities like Tomar, Santarém or even Fátima!
