Golf, fishing, riding and canoeing can all be found locally. It is within an easy drive of Hay-on-Wye, 10 miles, famous for its literary festivals and known as the "Book Capital of the World", with many craft shops and galleries. Hereford is 12 miles, and Abergavenny is 20 miles, which hosts many food festivals. The property is accessed by a stone farm lane, shared with the owners, which is one third of a mile long.
