The kitchen is fully equipped, cable and WIFI is provided, and a stackable washer dryer will wash the sand off your clothes each night. The unit has a spectacular view and is within walking distance of the beach. The Pointe West Beach Club is a short walk away and has a pool and hot tub, restaurant and bar, fitness club, game room and gift shop. Bikes are available to rent from the management at the Club and trails run through the complex to ride, run or walk the property. A second pool is on the other side of resort directly on Galveston Bay. The sunsets are spectacular, the lazy river pool or hot tub relaxing and the shady palms calm you. The Pointe West Community has a gas grill by the swimming pools for guests to use or charcoal grills spread throughout the complex so the family can enjoy cookouts. During the summer months activities for families and kids our offered throughout the weekend. On Saturday evenings in the summer there is live music at the Beach Club. Come to the best kept secret on the West side of Galveston Island! WRISTBAND POLICY The Property Owners Association (POA) at Pointe West collects a wristband fee of $25 per guest for each guest over the age of 4 (children younger than 4 do not pay) for use of the Beach Club and Sunset Pools during your stay at Pointe West. This is a onetime fee during your stay, not a daily fee. No wristbands are required to enjoy the beautiful beaches at Pointe West this fee is only for use of pools, fitness center, and other amenities. A reservation has been made in your name for your rental period at Pointe West. The wristbands are available at the Beach Club reception every day during business hours (9-5 off season, 9-6 peak season). The physical address for the Beach Club is 4161 Pointe West Drive, Galveston, TX. 77554. You do not have to purchase a wristband to enjoy the restaurant/bar at Pointe West. Your reservation will allow you to receive a temporary band to enjoy this business amenity. PLEASE NOTE: RESTAURANT IS CLOSED ON MONDAY'S DURING THE SPRING/SUMMER TO RESTOCK AND CLEAN AFTER LABOR DAY UNTIL OCTOBER 30, RESTAURANT IS CLOSED ON MONDAY AND TUESDAY THE RESTAURANT AND GIFT SHOP ARE CLOSED FROM NOVEMBER 1-MARCH 1 EVERY YEAR FITNESS CENTER, GAME ROOM AND POOLS ARE OPEN YEAR ROUND THE SUNSET POOL ON THE BAYSIDE OF POINTE WEST IS HEATED FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT YEAR-ROUND. THE BEACH CLUB POOL IS NOT HEATED AS IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO KEEP AN INFINITY POOL WARM. BOTH POOLS HAVE LARGE HOT TUBS FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT.
