A family-friendly space, it has all the amenities for a complete and comfortable stay within the historic center. Stunning view to enjoy at any time of the year. Thank you for choosing us and we are available during your stay. Make yourself at home The space Family-style apartment with three generously-sized bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom. It also has a balcony in the front and a canopy in the back. Guest access Apartment and Barbecue Grill. Other things to note Taking into account the pandemic times we are going through, and concerned about the health and well-being of all our guests, we have prepared an internal contingency plan that we make available here. COVID-19: INTERNAL CONTINGENCY PLAN Levels of responsibility of all stakeholders in the plan Considering that Fonte da Rosa Guest House does not have external employees and that all interventions are carried out by the members of the management body of the same accommodation, the level of responsibility is fully attributed to the management body. Guest Protection Procedures The Fonte da Rosa Guest House accommodation is equipped with: • Key safe for non-contact check-in, thus avoiding contact and possible spread of the virus between the members of the accommodation and the guests, favoring contact by phone, SMS or email. • Alcohol-based antiseptic solution or alcohol-based solution dispensers at the entrance to the building and the entrance to the apartment, for effective hand hygiene. • Information on how to comply with basic preventive precautions. • Personal protective equipment (surgical masks and gloves) to be distributed to all guests in case of suspected contagion of any of the guests. • Waste container with non-manual opening and plastic bag. • Hand washing equipment with liquid soap in the sanitary facilities. Procedures for the protection of professionals responsible for maintaining the accommodation of guests in the lodging According to the indications issued by the General Directorate of Health, each type of intervention or task has different risks of exposure and possible contagion, so they argue that uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE) should be different and appropriate for each type of intervention or task. The professionals responsible for handling bed linen must be equipped with appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), namely: • Gown • Non-sterile gloves • Protective goggles • FFP2 type respiratory protection mask The professionals responsible for the maintenance of environmental surfaces must also be equipped with appropriate personal protective equipment: • Waterproof gown or plastic apron over uniform • Liquid-resistant single-use gloves • Surgical mask Cleaning and sanitizing procedures for the facilities With regard to the cleaning and sanitizing of the facilities, the General Directorate of Health is peremptory and advises that the bed linen change intervention be separated from the floor and surface cleaning intervention, because changing the bed linen generates aerosols that can infect those who breathe them. Thus, Fonte da Rosa Guest House decided to space these two interventions three hours apart. Procedures adopted for changing the linen in the rooms: • Do not shake the bed linen. • Remove the bedding without shaking it, rolling it from the inside out, making a "bundle". • Avoid contact of the linen with the body. • Carry the laundry in a closed bag and place it directly in the washing machine. • Laundry will be washed in a machine intended only for the accommodation's laundry and the uniforms of the professionals. • The laundry will be washed at a temperature of at least 60ºC during a 2h30m cycle, thus being disinfected by a heat disinfection cycle. • A disinfectant suitable for fabrics will also be added to each wash, together with the detergent and softener. Procedures adopted for cleaning floors and surfaces: • Floors will be cleaned using a mop, rather than a broom and vacuum cleaner that set droplets in motion in the air, in which the virus can be contained, thus transforming them into aerosols. • Preference will always be given to wet cleaning of all surfaces as well as floors. • Surfaces will be cleaned from top to bottom and from the cleanest to the dirtiest areas. • To clean the toilet, a detergent with a simultaneous detergent and disinfectant function will be applied, inside and outside, leaving it to act for ten minutes so that it has the desired effect. Subsequently, it will be scrubbed inside with the toilet brush, and the toilet will be flushed with the toilet brush still inside, so that it is also disinfected. The outside of the toilet will be cleaned with a cloth, starting with the top, followed by the top of the toilet and all the outside parts, with the same detergent/disinfectant. Finally, rinse with hot water and let it dry. • Wash and disinfect the toilet brush holder. • The bath, bidet and washbasin area will also be cleaned with the same type of detergent/disinfectant used in the toilet, following the procedures already described above for cleaning surfaces. Procedures to be followed with a guest who is sick or suspected of being sick with COVID-19 in the accommodation • The guest must not leave the premises of the accommodation, remaining in their room. They should not leave or go to the Health Center or a private practice or to the hospital emergency room. • You should contact the accommodation management body so that we can contact the SNS24 line (808 24 24 24), which will assess the case and contact the Local Health Authority. • The guest must wait for instructions from the health professionals who will attend to them and for the clinical decision. • The accommodation will distribute surgical masks and gloves to the patient and other guests, as well as provide information for the correct use of this equipment. • Depending on the patient's clinical situation, the Local Health Authority may choose to send the guest to the area's referral hospital. • Cleaning and linen removal professionals will only be able to start their cleaning and sanitizing of the accommodation after the laboratory diagnosis result is out.
