Margaret Ann Chalet

Margaret Ann is a cosy wooden chalet in Seaton located close to the southwest coastal path. The space The south facing chalet is situated in Seaton on a quiet holiday park in pretty communal gardens. We offer a fitted kitchen complete with a cooker / hob, microwave, fridge with a small freezer. Plenty of plates, glasses and general kitchen utensils for all your cooking needs! Also dining area seating for four people and a digital radio. PLEASE NOTE The chalet Wi-Fi is provided via a dongle ( equivalent to a 3G /4G phone signal ) it will help guests with using phones but is unlikely to be strong enough to stream films etc. The living space has a comfy two seater sofa & a cuddle chair, TV and DVD player for your viewing with a small selection of DVDs together with some games in the TV Cabinet for you & extra batteries for the remotes if needed The living area also has a small log effect heater if it’s chilly . Lastly lovely views of the gardens for you to enjoy. The bathroom is fitted with an electric shower over a small bath, toilet and hand basin. An electric towel rail is fitted, which does get hot when on so please take care. Bedroom one has a double bed & wardrobe / hanging space provided also a heater & extra blankets. This bedroom also has an iron and ironing board & a hair dryer (in bedside drawer nearest the window) if needed. Both bedrooms have a hot water bottle stored in the hanging space , please do use them carefully. Bedroom two has twin beds and wardrobe/ hanging space also a heater and extra blankets. Both bedrooms have an electric fan provided for the warmer weather. We have a pretty sun deck with a table and seating for guests to enjoy a drink / meal in the sunshine. Also a light on the decking with a switch that can be found behind the living area curtain. The garden table umbrella is located behind the curtain next to the bathroom. The chalet park gardens also have some washing lines to hang wet costumes / towels etc. You will find your nearest one located to the left of our chalet . pegs / peg bag can be found in the kitchen cupboard under the sink , please return once used . Guest access Guests have full access to all of our chalet and the communal gardens whilst staying with us. Guests also have full access to plenty of free parking at the park during their stay. Other things to note DOGS - we welcome guests with ONE small dog because of our chalet floor space. Please do not bring your dog on holiday with you if you intend to leave them alone in the chalet. The chalet can get warm on sunny days and the space is not suitable for a dog to be left. The chalet is approximately half an hours walk from the nearest beach , this will include a hill on the way back . In a car it’s around 5 mins away . We politely ask you not to allow your dog on the furniture & beds to help us keep the chalet clean for all our guests. Dogs do need to be kept on leads in the communal gardens and we ask that you clear up after them, poo bags are provided in the kitchen should you need them. We are sorry but no BBQs are permitted at the chalet or in the gardens . Please do not hang clothes over any of the chalet heaters to dry due to the fire risk. Please note our Wi-Fi is provided via a dongle so will help with phones but generally not strong enough to stream / download . We can struggle as the area is rural and signals are not always strong . We feel it’s important to let guests know this so hopefully expectations are managed.
