Our cozy cottage home is 900 square feet and it is located behind our home in the beautiful garden district-a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. This adorable cottage has a full, spacious kitchen(sink, refrigerator,stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher basic cooking needs),living room, dining room, bar seating,bedroom with a queen-sized bed, walk-in closet, and stack unit washer/dryer. We are convenient to ACOM and 30 minutes to Fort Rucker. There are 2 nearby parks as well as hospitals. Our cottage home is in an excellent location-central to many great shops and restaurants. It is one of the first established neighborhoods in Dothan and is surrounded by beautiful live oaks and nature. This area is known as the Garden District. There is a gas grill and fire pit on the patio if you want to stop relax and read a book out on the patio or do some grilling. Just check with us on the grill and we can get you started. My husband and I want to make your stay here a great experience and hope that you will feel welcome. If you need help carrying in your luggage when you arrive, please let us know. We will supply our cottage with some snacks and water bottles as well as bath and laundry amenities. On our kitchen bar, we will leave you a welcome letter giving you property details including wifi code. Our neighborhood is a quiet, friendly community- well known for our beautiful azalea trail that takes place each spring when the azaleas are in full bloom. If you happen to be visiting in February, we have an awesome Mardi gras parade that is quite entertaining and it goes right down our street.It is a quick trip to Foster Street where Foster Fest goes on starting in the spring. Many local coffee shops and restaurants are downtown. Bird and Bean is our favorite! Our neighborhood is great for walking and/or bikeriding. While there are no sidewalks on our street, there is little traffic throughout this area so it's great for experiencing the outdoors. Please do not try to pet our dog by entering our backyard fenced in area. We have a 10 year old, loyal dog, loving to us but protective of our family. We keep her indoors,mostly and never let her roam freely. We want our guests to feel welcome but to keep everyone safe at all times! We love our property and we take great pride in making a comfortable,safe place for guests. We ask that our guests treat our property with that same respect and keep it neat and tidy like it is upon arrival. As long term super hosts-we have a policy that all prospective guests have previously joined Air Band B and have former hosts who have given them positive reviews. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate guests who have no prior reviews.
