This 1870 Shaker farmhouse sits at the top of 25 acres of two large fields, woodlands, streams and private hiking paths. The space This historic farmhouse, built in 1876 and restored in 2018, sits on 23 private acres. Retreat for a weekend to experience upstate or settle in and take walks through the fields and explore the woodlands. The home’s interior has been thoughtfully decorated with the work of local artists. With an open floor plan, fireplace and large kitchen, the house is spacious and comfortable. Plenty of wood is provided at no charge. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas range, dishwasher, refrigerator with ice maker, 10-set dinnerware, bakeware, pots and pans, pour over and French press coffee makers, cutlery and utensils, linens, charcoal grill, waffle maker, stand mixer, cast iron pan, roasting pan and serving ware. Take advantage of the deck by enjoy your coffee with a sunrise view or stay up late to stargaze. You may be lucky to see wildlife in the fields or in the fall, enjoy apples from any of the eight apples trees. The house is equip with high speed internet, a large smart screen TV (complete with Netflix, Disney + and Amazon Prime), Sonos home system and record player. The master and guest bedrooms have a queen size bed with guest room 2 having a double bed. We have a Baby Bjorn pack-n-play and a rollout floor mat cushion to be used as a toddler bed on the floor as needed. This home is perfect for families or small groups.
