The Riverside Gîte

The Riverside Gîte is on the banks of the River Orbieu with views to Lagrasse's 12th century stone bridge and Abbey. This luxurious 2 bedroom apartment has been incorporated into what were the medieval ramparts of the village and is part of a remarkable house of grand proportions which houses three beautiful apartments. Its prime position on the river gives the gite a wonderful feeling of being in the countryside, with the sound of the river to lull you to sleep at night. The space ; whilst the front of the house opens into the heart of the village and 13th century covered market. The living room and kitchen are open with windows looking on the river and the Mediterranean landscape. A nice fireplace is in the livingroom to warm you in autumn or early spring. The main bedroom has a queen size bed and an en suite bathroom with toilet. The second bedroom is a family room with one queen bed and one single bed. There is also a utility room by the entrance with a toilet and washing machine. Guests enjoy direct access by the ground floor of the house to the river for swimming or sun bathing.
