Welcome this cheery modern mountain home! It's one of the newest properties on the block and just a two-minute stroll from the water and Tahoe Vista Beach. I love this place, as its a great escape from the city life, and place to truly experience all the seasons. Enjoy the fresh air, mountains, lake, and everything you could possibly imagine to have an incredible outdoor experience. *You are responsible for keeping up to date on road conditions, AQI, knowing the location of your booking etc. The space Built in 2008 This feels more like a home then an actual cabin. All tile floors in the hall way and kitchen, marble in the bathroom, and wood in the bedroom. The house has a hydronic heating system (which warms up very very quickly) and heats the house through the floors. Who doesn't love warm floors on a cold morning!? **Note the bedrooms are on separate floors. Pointing this out as it might be a concerns to some.** Please feel free to use all appliances including the washer and dryer if needed. All extra towels, pillows, sheets are in the main closet down stairs. Kitchen is stocked with condiments, coffee, dishes, tupper ware, and most basic cooking appliances. There are two pairs of snow shoes in the upstairs closet, and games which you are welcome to enjoy. Cable TV, wifi access, and DVR are available. I hope you make yourself at home! Bookings - I normally require a 3-day booking or 2 days during the week. Please don't hesitate to ask me if you would like to book something more flexible and I'm happy to consider it. Guest access Parking: Driveway or garage. Note there is not street parking allowed November 1 - May 31st. Other things to note Please note that (Placer County) Lake Tahoe requires me to charge all guests Transient Occupancy Taxes. There will be a 10% fee that I bundle into each booking. These fee's are something that I have to pay directly to the county, as Airbnb does not automatically collect for Placer County at this time. There is no line Item for this in the Airbnb fee breakdown, hence I roll it into what I ask in my price per night. My certificate is posted in the main room when you walk in the house, for your reference.
