Reservations are recommended for these. Blue Ridge Brewing Company has great food with an Appalachian flavor and a rooftop bar. For a more casual meal, try Stomping Grounds Coffee & Wine Bar (check their schedule for live music), or Wild Ace Pizza. Abbots Frozen Custard has sweet treats, and Barista Alley has coffee and smoothies. Great downtown shops include Galleries of Brian Brigham (upscale furnishings & antiques), Empire, LTD. Studio (upscale men's consignment and custom bowties), The Shoppes on Trade (gifts and local handmade items), Talloni: a Shoe Salon (upscale women's shoes), Maiale Boutique (upscale women's clothing), Smith & James (fine men's clothing), Chelsea's (women's clothing). To get to the front of the building, go through Stomping Grounds Coffee Shop next door. Reserved parking is available for one car in the parking lot directly behind the Loft entrance. Additional free parking is available in the public lot off of School Street or on any street in downtown Greer. The Loft is ten minutes from GSP airport, 20 minutes from downtown Greenville, and 30 minutes from Spartanburg. Uber and Lyft arrive within ten minutes. Car rental is available at the GSP airport. You may hear the footsteps of your upstairs neighbor on the original wood floors! A sound machine is provided in the bedroom.
