Walk, bike or snowmobile from cabin right to Presidential Range Rail Trail. Spacious cabin has walk-in basement for gear, warm and cozy wood stove, gas grill on covered side porch, big fire pit in back yard, great covered deck with awesome view for relaxing, close to skiing and hiking trailheads. Our cozy cabin in the woods is the perfect place to relax and enjoy. It is a great location to access all of your favorite outdoor activities; Presidential Rail Trail is accessible at bottom of the road to go out on snowmachine, cross country ski or dog sled in winter. In summer good for mountain biking, hiking, or walking, good river swimming hole within walking distance. It's also a great place to just lounge and cuddle up by the fire or relax on the covered front porch with stunning mountain views, this is the spot. Regular price is $125 per week night, $150 per weekend night and Holidays with minimum 2 night stay on weekends. Over 4 people, there is an extra charge of $25 per person per night. Easy drives to ski areas, (Cannon, Bretton Woods, Attitash, Cranmore, Loon, Wildcat, Sunday River). Cabin driveway connects to snowmobiling trail system (Presidential Rail Trail). Right on snowmobile trail system, out the door to access amazing riding trail system! Walk down the road to Muddy Paws Dogsled Kennel to go on a dogsled ride. Close to Cherry Pond Wildlife Refuge, short drive to hiking trailheads throughout Presidential Range, AMC trail system and Franconia Notch State Park. Close to shopping and dining in Littleton village (stop by the brewery), or head to outlets in North Conway through Crawford Notch (Mt. Washington Hotel is a good stop for amazing scenery, history and activities) or you can choose Pinkham Notch to drive up Mt. Washington or ride up on the scenic coach- or hike Tuckerman's Ravine in the spring to see some wild backcountry skiing off the headwall. From Conway to Lincoln, drive the "Kanc" for some leaf peeping and great mountain views in the fall. In the summer catch a show at the Weathervane Theater in Whitefield and stop in at the Mt. View Grand historic hotel. We are 10 minute drive from Santa's Village. Car, truck, snowmobile, 4 wheeler, skiis, dogsled, snowshoes. No cabs or public transportation. This is a rustic cabin, no dishwasher, and lots of stairs! May not be suitable for small or busy children; we encourage you to inquire and be fully aware of the property and set up prior to booking if you have children. Closest store is Old Corner Store up in Jefferson village, about 5 miles away, sell beer and wine, limited groceries, pizza and subs. Water Wheel Restaurant, about 3 miles away has full breakfast, lunches and gift shop. Full liquor store and grocery store in Lancaster, 13 miles away. Also Littleton has Coop grocery, liquor store and lots of fun shopping, ski shop, restaurants, etc. If planning on stopping for groceries on your way north, Lincoln is last place to stop that is on the way.
