It is located in the unique and popular town of Hector, just minutes away from numerous wineries, breweries, distilleries fine restaurants, and the National Forrest. World famous Watkins Gorge and access to several boating tours are minutes away. Ithaca with Cornell, Ithaca College, world class restaurants and gorges is 35 minutes. Spacious vaulted ceilings with plenty of sunshine and view, complete kitchen with stainless steel fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave and quartz countertops. We supply coffee, creamer and sugar for your morning buzz. You will have nightly sunset views from your living room or private dock with just the sounds of nature. There is a Smart 70"TV in the living room and a Ruko remote in bedroom Please, no smoking including weed. We do not allow allow animals of any species to protect guests who may have allergies The guest suite is located on the second floor of a garage that will not be used while you are there. Parking is on a gravel driveway adjacent to the building. There is only one step to the deck. We live nearby on the property in our own private residence and are available to answer questions before 9PM or any time for emergencies. We have a guest binder with pamphlets and maps for the numerous activities and venues available. Stonecat Restaurant, and Elf in the Oak are only a few of nearby eateries. Hector Wine Co, Grist Iron Brewery and Finger Lakes Distilling are just down the street. Hiking and horseback riding in the National Forest. Corning Museum or Ithaca for rainy days. Watkins Gorge is world renowned and has several boating tours available. When grapes are ripening, the birds are aware and start eating them. The farmers set up "canons" to go off intermittently to scare them away. This begins in late August until harvesting is done. This is a rural area with no public transportation. There are winery tours available and an Uber service. Your access to the beach involves a walk downhill and a stairway This is a right of way for some landowners surrounding us. Don't feel intimidated to use this because it is common land. You may encounter other people on the deck at the bottom of the stairs. At the bottom of the stairs, turn right and go thru the entrance marked "No Trespassing" That is meant for the guests using the deck that belongs to another arbnb. You will detach a rope, walk thru and proceed on a wooden walkway. Your dock has two white chairs with ottomans. You have a grass beach with walk in access to the water. Water shoes are suggested due to stones in the water. Please bring your own beach towels. We can get some wicked storms that can clear the deck!! You are welcome to use the two kayaks located on the back of the storage shed. Life jackets are inside the shed
