The surroundings include over an acre of thickly wooded area with ample parking for both cars and boats. About one half mile down the road is the very upscale Twin Cove marina (one of the nicest on Norris Lake) which includes a boat launching ramp and a huge floating restaurant and bar. Knoxville is about 40 miles away. Dollywood 1 hr drive. This is a fully wooded rustic and secluded environment on the outside but yet very clean, spacious and attractive inside. Number one amenity is perhaps its close proximity to the Twin Cove Marina (one half mile). The apartment has a private entry very conveniently accessed on one level through the garage. The outside area is well lit and a motion detector light over the entrance door. Each of the bedrooms and the shower are one step higher than the floor. We would describe ourselves as very friendly and congenial people who easily relate to the needs of others. We fully appreciate the necessity of assisting guests with their questions about local surroundings and amenities. This is in a nice subdivision, but our place is secluded since we have chosen to leave the surroundings as close to nature as possible. While our house and the apartment are upscale, inside and out, all outdoors area including the driveway have intentionally been left rustic. WE OFFER THIS PLACE FOR THE FULL MONTHS OF DECEMBER, JANUARY, AND FEBRUARY FOR A TOTAL OF $4,OOO, TO INCLUDE ALL UTILITIES EXCEPT CABLE TV. HOWEVER THERE ARE ABOUT 18 CHANNELS THAT COME IN CRISTAL CLEAR OVER AN ANTENNA. There is a winding but well paved road coming to our house. Our house is located only about 3 miles from I-75 exit 134. There is a Super Walmart about five and a half miles. Almost every fast food chain restaurant and shopping places are about the same distance. The beautiful Cove Lake State Park is about three miles away and includes an upscale large swimming pool as well as picnic shelters, a restaurant, tennis courts, etc. Twin Cove Marina and Resort is only one half mile from this apartment and by some accounts is the nicest Marina on Norris Lake. NOTE: IF YOU ARE A SMOKER PLEASE DO NOT APPLY EVEN IF YOU SMOKE OUTSIDE ONLY! Our maximum number of guests is set at four. If you should happend to show up with guests exceeding the four, we would like to remind you that there are only two queen sized beds and one bathroom. Further, since more guests use more utilities , we must add an additional charge of $50 PER DAY FOR EACH GUEST EXCEEEDING THE FOUR and you must be prepared to share your bed with multiple companions or bring your own extra bedding. The nearby Twin Cove Marina is a beautifully appointed resort with public boat launch and a huge dock with a floating restaurant and bar. A very nice place to do all sorts of boating activities, and/or just relax with dinner and drinks in a splendid atmosphere.
