Pettorano sul Gizio is a charming village (among the 100 most beautiful in Italy) that marks the access between the Peligna Valley and the Cinque Miglia plateau. Escher, in love with Abruzzo, produced 28 prints during his time in Italy, depicting as many Abruzzo villages that struck him for their particular beauty, and one is dedicated to Pettorano sul Gizio. At an altitude of 600 meters, Pettorano sul Gizio offers the tranquility and nature of the Monte Genzana reserve all year round. The space The house is on the first floor of an ancient building that the Cantelmo Dukes had built as a "Bertesca" with an adjoining guardhouse, cells, and stables. It has a great view of Mount Mattone, Mount Genzana and the Gizio River. The house consists of a large living room with kitchenette, a sitting area with sofa, a double bedroom, a bedroom with 2 single beds and a bathroom with tub. The master bedroom and living room lead to the balcony overlooking the mountains. Access is only possible via the stairs. The car can reach Piazza Umberto I° (where you can park except during public events) and the house is 30 meters from the square. No pets allowed.
