*Beach Room w/private en-suite bathroom!*

This immersive, aquamarine room brings the beach directly to you! Step out the door to a spectacular panoramic view of the Monterey Bay. • Large private room with queen-size bed. • Optional single sofa bed and fold-out (narrow) single bed for extra guests who are comfortable sharing space. • Private en-suite bathroom! • There may be other guests in the house in our other rooms. If you have friends, ask about our other rooms! The space This is a private room with private bathroom and queen-size bed. There is one single sofa day bed and we can add a single pop-up bed for one or two additional guests (you need to book for three guests to have 2 beds or four guests to have 3 beds). There are several other rooms available in the house, click on my profile to see more. Please note: This is a room in a shared house which we rent out when the full house has not been booked. We try to maintain a chic, hostel vibe for our room guests. :-) Note: there is an attached apartment (separate entrance, no shared space) which is sometimes occupied by either our family or a tenant. This property is managed by Ark Vacations (which is just our small family business name), it is the only home we own. You can find our location on the map. We appreciate you treating our home like you would if you were friends-of-friends. We have put a lot of love into this place and we hope you feel it. We LOVE sharing it with others. STR20-0083 Guest access Please park your car directly in front of the house on the main street and enter the house through the FRONT door (not the side door by the garage). You will need to come through the garden gate and up the front stairs. We ask guests to remove their shoes in our house. There is a shoe closet near the front door. This is a room-only rental, but you are welcome to enjoy the view from our front living room. The front living room has hot water, tea and coffee. You are welcome to store some food in the refrigerator in the kitchen or use the microwave. We ask that you clean up after yourself since the cleaning fee for the room rental does not include the kitchen and dining room areas. During your stay We do not live in the area but are always available via phone or message. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or would like recommendations on local attractions, restaurants and shops! Other things to note • The walls in the house are thin, and it is difficult for us to control the noise that other guests make. We do ask that everyone respect our quiet hours of 9pm-7am. If other guests are noisy, shoot me a message and I’ll do my best to address the issue. • We are just down the street from the fire station—which means that we're all set if we have an emergency—but we also have the pleasure of knowing every time anyone else does. • We are on a quiet main street next to a school. The street doesn't have much traffic, but the sound carries when someone drives by fast or playing thumping music. We do not get much noise from the school at all. During school drop-off and pick-up times, it can be hard to find parking - otherwise there is plenty of room on the street in front of the house.
