Villa Luna - Umbrian farmhouse with private pool

VILLA LUNA - CASTIGLIONE DEL LAGO AREA Villa Luna is an old farmhouse which has been completely restored, located on a small hill overlooking Lake Trasimeno towards the fortified outline of Castiglione del Lago on one side and the neighbouring gentle hills of Tuscany on the other. The house is surrounded by a lawn of one hectare and a fenced garden, with a private swimming pool (6m x 12m; 1.2 - 2.4m deep) and a BBQ for the use of the guests. The main living area is perfect for entertaining with its large table, sofas in front of the fireplace and pleasant cooking area (dishwasher). Big archways made of brick and stone separate the rooms. There are also two verandas so guests can relax either in the shade or in the sun. There is an air conditioned breakfast room with outdoor access and fireplace. There are 7 suites all with en-suite bathrooms (4 with bathtub and shower, 3 with shower - one suitable for disabled). The decor, the furniture, and the fresco walls and ceilings of each suite are unique with great attention to detail, making a stay at the villa an unforgettable experience. All suites have double bed (some four-poster) and two of the suites have an ottoman that can be converted into a single bed. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, private entrance, TV, kettle, hairdryer and accessories for tea and herbal teas. One of the suites is located on the upper level, in a turret where you can enjoy 360 degree views over the countryside and Lake Trasimeno. Close to the villa there is also an annex with laundry room (washing machine, dryer, iron), the Reception area where guests may use internet, a kitchen (dishwasher), a bathroom with shower and a living room with fireplace, air conditioning, table and chairs for 16 people. Prices include: water, pool towels, bed linen change on Wednesdays and Saturdays, daily cleaning service for 2 hours per day except Sundays, pool and park maintenance.
