Welcome to our home, a peaceful single-family waterfront home in Lauderdale Isles (Southeast Ft. Lauderdale). We are 0.5 miles to Port Everglades, 1 mile to sandy beaches , 3 miles to airport. Our family uses the home to dock our boats & we enjoy sharing be it families, business related or simple leisure. Available nightly, weekly and monthly. The boat docks are available for rent if available by special request and fee They are off-limits otherwise. The space Casa Cordova is a peaceful single-family waterfront home located in southeast Fort Lauderdale. The home provides guests with (3) bedrooms - master: queen bed; second bedroom: queen bed; third bedroom: (2) twin beds. Our home is perfect for families, groups, business travels, simple leisure or snowbirds looking to escape the cold winters. We have a full-size washer/dryer which is available for guests to use, laundry detergent/dryer sheets are provided by the host. Casa Cordova is only minutes (3 miles) to the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, Port Everglades Cruise Terminals (0.5 miles), the beaches (1 mile) via SE 17th Street Causeway, 2 blocks from the Ft Lauderdale Convention Center and downtown Fort Lauderdale/Las Olas Boulevard (4 miles). Walking distance to grocery stores and many local favorite restaurants including Southport Raw Bar, 15th Street Fisheries, Quarterdeck, Boatyard and many more! The boat docks may be available for rent or use by the guests. Feel free to discuss any questions with us that you may have about this rule. --------------------------------- NO PARTIES * Unless discussed and approved with host MINIMUM AGE 21 * Unless discussed and approved with the host MINIMUM AGE OF 25 in Season (November through April) * Unless discussed and approved with the host --------------------------------- *ITEMS PROVIDED BY THE HOST* When packing, we find it easy to let our guests know they can expect the following items upon checking into Casa Cordova: - Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Soap (dispensers in every bathroom) - Toilet Paper and Paper Towels - Bathroom and (separate) Beach Towels (if you don't see beach towels, ask host) - Fresh Linens and Blankets (additional blankets, linens available on request) - Ready to Use Kitchen (most pots/pans/cooking/baking necessities; full set(s) of dishes/glasses/utensils) - Regular Coffee Pot and Keurig - Tea Kettle - Dish Soap and Dishwasher Detergent - Iron and Ironing Board - Hair Dryer Guest access CASA CORDOVA HOUSE MANUAL PARKING: Upon arriving to the property - if you have vehicle(s) - park in the wide, paved driveway in the front of the home. The driveway can easily accommodate up to (4) vehicles. Garage access is not provided to our guests, we use it to store personal belongings. There is NO street parking allowed along Cordova Road. If you have guests and need additional parking, speak with the host(s) and provide your guests with the instructions provided. You can also refer to the parking plan in the house manual booklet. --------------------------------- ACCESSING THE HOME Guests will receive a detailed check-in message approximately 24-hours prior to their scheduled arrival. The instructions will provide specific details related to our check-in procedure and a PERSONALIZED DOOR CODE to access the lock box with the house keys. *If you have questions on how to operate the lockbox, did not receive the code OR prefer to meet in person - please let us know prior to check-in. *If you use any other doors during your stay, specifically the rear door off the sunroom, please lock it from the inside prior to your departure/check-out. --------------------------------- KITCHEN Feel free to open the cabinets and acquaint yourself with the location of the dishes, glasses, pots/pans, silverware (kept on the counter in metal buckets), coffee and cleaning supplies. We provide dish soap, hand soap, paper towels/products and basic cleaning necessities should their be an accident - please keep our home tidy! The appliances are easy to use and work wonderfully. If there are any issues with an appliance malfunctioning message or call the host immediately. The switch for the disposal is to the left of the sink under the overhang of the cabinet. *If anything is not working properly or gets damaged during the stay, alert us immediately via text or AirBNB messenger along with photo and description. We will do our best to fix it ASAP. --------------------------------- LIVING ROOM/DINING AREA Living and dining areas at Casa Cordova are blended and informal. There are (2) dining tables that sit (4) people each. In the main living room, a flat screen TV is connected to the cable chanels for your viewing pleasure. In the sunroom, there is a light switch as you walk through the sliding glass doors to your far right that controls the ceiling lights. This room does have an AC vent, but because of the exposure to the sun, it tends to stay a little warmer -- we ask you to please keep the sliding doors shut when not using that room. There are also table lamps if more lighting is necessary. --------------------------------- BEDROOM TVs Both the master bedroom and the 2nd bedroom have the same TVs which are brand new flat screen smart TVs. They have a cable box for cable channels and are connected to the internet -- use the ROKU remote(s) to toggle Netflix, Amazon, Hulu or other streaming channels. ————————————— WI-FI First of all make sure the Wi-Fi box is plugged into the wall in the 2nd bedroom on the left down the hall. 2nd make sure the light switch is flipped on (inside the door to right). Wi-Fi Name; Cordova1324 Password: cordovawifi When using that bedroom, use the floor lamps (also need the light switch on) to control the lighting. --------------------------------- BBQ We have a BBQ grill in the garage, just roll it out the door to use and roll it back in when finished. If the propane tank runs out, let the hosts know and they will do their best to replace it ASAP -- however if you need it soon than their accommodation, there are multiple gas stations or refill locations around the corner from the home and the host will reimburse if needed. --------------------------------- SARA DORFMAN is the local host and she can be reached anytime -- if the call is unanswered, follow up immediately with a text message. Lastly, HAVE FUN and welcome to Casa Cordova in Lauderdale Isles, Fort Lauderdale. Other things to note If you are inquiring about a stay that is longer than 7-days, ask about available discounts. We will also work with guests who require stays longer than 30-days and establish a "monthly" rate which waives cleaning fees to best accommodate your needs. All of our rates fluctuate based on demand, time of the year (on- or off-season) and local events. Docks available FOR RENT (separately from the AirBNB reservation) & cannot be used without approval from the host, property manager or owner. Docks will accommodate up to 55' length & 14' beam - 5 min to ocean/port. All dock rentals are by availability and are subject to price changes.
