Lakeside Cottage Getaway

Our little cottage sits nestled in pines overlooking beautiful Kamaniskeg Lake. We are near Algonquin Park. The recent renovations include a tastefully decorated space with the feel of a cozy Canadian cabin.. The beds are excellent. You can enjoy the view and ambience sitting in the screened in porch overlooking a spectacular view or sit lakeside on the patio. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen and bed and bath linens . Satellite tv as well. The space Our cottage faces south west providing you with sun all day and beautiful sunsets. Go for a paddle in the canoe provided or sit and relax on the lakeside patio. You have your own dock to sit on and enjoy as well. There are many birds, flora and fauna to enjoy. The lake is sandy bottom and is very shallow , ideal for safe swimming. The cabin sits next door to our home , separated by 55 feet and a privacy screen . Guest access You can access the lake by a shared set of stairs. At the lake you have your seating area, with chairs as well as a dock designated for your use. Other things to note As mentioned... our home is in close proximity to the cabin. There is 55 feet between the house and cabin. A privacy screen has been erected to give you some privacy and separation from our residence. Hence it is not a cabin hidden in the woods. You do not have any neighbours on the other side. The lake is accessed by a number of beautiful granite steps. We have a new system which draws water from the lake which if suitable for showers/bathing. It is not potable (not for drinking). We provide some bottled water and a well water tap is available for refills.
