Description

Quaint, cozy, stylish home, off the beaten path and close to everything! Walk to the beach in about 10 minutes or to a restaurant in 5 minutes...to get ice cream, rent bikes in 4 minutes OR hike or bike the Longleaf Greenway Trail that starts 5 minute walk away! Enjoy your coffee or an adult beverage on the back porch with the peaceful view of the tropical yard with ponds. You might even see a little wildlife during your stay…😊 Note: Dog friendly! No children under 10. The space I had a hard time trying to label this unique area, but the space in which you are renting is probably a total of 500 sq. feet...hence the tiny house feel though it’s really the 1st floor of my part time home which is on the upper 2nd floor of my house. This new private space includes sliding glass doors in both the living room and master bedroom that lead out to the quaint porch and pretty tropical yard with a pond for your relaxation and enjoyment! There is also a fire pit you may use as long as Walton County isn’t under any burn restrictions at the time. The many water oak trees and tropical foliage make it a bird watcher's paradise! This has been a fun project that I now want to share with my guests! Guest access Just to let you know, once again, I do live part time in the top floor of this house. I am friendly and quiet :). You have access to the first floor house area which includes 2 bedrooms including 1 queen bed & 1 twin bed, 1 bath, living room, porch & yard. This also includes a washer & dryer in a separate room that we share. I will use the laundry area when I'm in town on occasion but will always let you know ahead of time. There is a little kitchenette area which includes a sink, refrigerator, microwave and keurig coffee maker plus cups, drink glasses, plates, bowls, mugs, and silverware. 2 Complementary coffee pods are provided as well as creamer, sugar and other condiments in the cupboard. There is a 32 inchTV in the living room & WiFi. There are all sorts of games for anyone looking for something to do on a rainy day. :) I do have 2 beach chairs available & a styrofoam cooler that you are welcome to use in the hall closet. These things were left behind by other guests but not something I guarantee is in working order. Lastly, both sets of stairs & the upper deck is off limits to guests & pets. Thanks! Cheri Other things to note If there is something missing that is mentioned as being supplied, please text or call me immediately. Within 48 hours of your check-in, you will receive an email from Airb&b to pay the 5% tourism tax that Airb&b does not collect for your stay in Walton County. It is not an extra tax, just collected separately unlike most other counties.. Things to bring that are not supplied: Shampoo, Conditioner, Laundrey soap & Kleenex. There is a $65 pet fee. It’s recommended that you bring a clean covering for the couch cushions if you think they will jump on it. Also, please keep them out of the bedrooms! There is a $100-$200 cleaning fee added when dog hairs are found on couch cushions, bedding, and drapes & if urine stains are found on any rugs!
