Located in a rural setting, holiday home De Ketse Steenuil is a quirky and colourful accommodation for 2/3 people. The detached accommodation is completely self-contained with all comforts. The living room faces south and overlooks a large garden (500m2) with mature trees. Many ecological materials were used in the renovation, such as clay stucco walls in the bedroom, bathroom and toilet. This gives it a particularly pleasant atmosphere. The space All rooms are at ground level. The living room with pellet stove (free pellets) is open to the large kitchen. This is fully and completely equipped. Furthermore, the bedroom has a beautiful and colourful bathroom 'en-suite' with walk-in shower and washbasin with Mexican basin. The separate toilet and washing machine room is located in the walk-in from the bedroom. The bedroom and bathroom have an electrically operated skylight with accessories (pleated curtain, roller shutter and awning curtain). All rooms have underfloor heating, with the exception of the bedroom. There, a nostalgic cast-iron radiator has been chosen. Guest access The entire holiday home is detached in a yard and adjacent to a private shed. The entrance is at the back. You get there via a footpath along the orchard, on which you have unobstructed views from the kitchen. Upon arrival, please ring the bell at the main house. I will give you a tour and further information. Other things to note In the large pear tree at the back of the garden hangs the owl box. You can usually spot the female owl (and often the larger male) early in the morning or late in the evening. When the owl has its annual nest, there is a lot of activity in the pear tree from May to July. Nice to see the young owls learning to jump from branch to branch or getting their first flying lesson!
