Brick Row House in the Woods, private 2nd floor
Description
Looking for the best price to stay in a historic Hudson Valley townhouse? Just 15 minutes from Hudson, NY is a private second-floor suite above an artist’s studio—bedroom, living room and bathroom all to yourself. Hosted by a top-rated Superhost known for her glowing reviews and exceptional hospitality, you'll enjoy a continental breakfast, easy self-check-in, and spotlessly cleaned rooms. The sunlit space and garden is perfect for meditation, journaling, studying, or simply unwinding. The space My Bnb is located on the private 2nd floor of my 1867 Brick row house. It was originally built to house employees of a railroad that ran along the Hudson River just behind the B&B. The comfortable sunny bedroom is decorated in the "Adirondack" style. It has a plush queen size bed surrounded with your host's original art reflecting nature and all its beauty. The sunrise is seen coming up over the river through the window and a desk with access to free wifi is in the corner. The full size bathroom is located just outside the bedroom complete with marble vanity and antique claw foot tub and shower. The living room which can accommodate an air mattress for a third guest is filled with your host's art books and whimsical collections. It has comfy seating so you can read, watch cable TV with your morning coffee or just stare out the window at the woods. A breakfast corner with fridge is available to chill beverages, make your own coffee or tea to accompany a complimentary continental breakfast. Weather permitting, have breakfast or relax in my perennial flower garden, featuring pond, bonsai trees and buddha. Guest access You will have a keyed semi-private entrance to your upstairs rooms and shared access to the backyard garden, deck and frog pond. Parking is directly in front of the building. During your stay I am available on site for all my guest needs. Having lived in Athens for many years I can provide you with tips on all the resources the area has to offer. I can be contacted by cell phone anytime during your stay. While you're here in Athens take one of my art or photography workshops in my studio just downstairs from your accommodation . Read more about them in my profile. After you've booked, contact me for more info on fees and scheduling. Other things to note This is a no smoking, no candles, incense, no cooking, no pets apartment. Guests are expected to respect the space and its accessories and report any mishaps ASAP to the host so they can be taken care of and your visit can continue to be an enjoyable one. Please remove your shoes at the bottom of the stairs before going up to your rooms.
