The grounds include an in-ground swimming pool, pond, mature gardens and organic vegetable garden. The entire house is tastefully decorated with antiques and artwork. The Living Room has a wood burning fireplace and adjacent Finnish Sauna. The "Candlestick Guest Room" is one of three bedrooms. It contains a beautiful antique single bed with carved wooden headboard. It is decorated with other lovely antique furniture and prints. The house is located 2 hours from Manhattan. It is equidistant between Hudson, NY and Great Barrington, MA, easily accessible from the Taconic State Parkway. Enjoy fine dining, shopping and antiquing in nearby Hudson NY Egremont MA and Great Barrington MA. Cultural activities include:Tanglewood, Jacob's Pillow, Norman Rockwell Museum and Mass MOCA to name a few. Enjoy hiking, fishing,bicycling, bird watching, and golfing during the Spring, Summer, Fall. In the Winter ski Catamount ( only10 min away) and nearby Butternut in Great Barrington This is a pet friendly property.There are multiple animals in the household.
