Our two bedroom apartment in a historic district on Galveston Island is centrally located & close to all the attractions! It's just a short walk to Pleasure Pier, seawall and the beach and The Strand is a quick drive and features shopping, restaurants, bars and a shady place to stroll. The apartment is on a corner lot with free street parking and will be comfortable and fun for you & your guests. Bonus feature: private patio with grill and full shower for extra outdoor living! The space The Low Tide apartment is located on the 1st floor of our historic home built in 1914. The apartment is new construction, completed in December 2018. The apartment is a private residence completely separate from the upstairs residence. A full kitchen with ice-maker, Keurig and name brand appliances await your stay. The beds feature 13" foam hybrid mattresses and luxury linens and pillows. Blackout shades and individual a/c units in the two bedrooms create a wonderful night's (or day's!) sleep. Original shiplap and other pieces of wood saved during construction have been used to make the dining table and additional pieces of furniture and art around the apt. It's an awesome blend of old and new. Our inviting outdoor space is a great place to relax or take a quick shower (full hot & cold) when you return from the beach. Outside, just walk seven easy blocks and you'll be on the seawall looking at all the nearby choices to grab a bite, ride a ride or put your toes in the sand. Low Tide is a great place to stay pre/post cruise. The Strand and the cruise terminals are located a little over a mile away from the residence. Guest access The downstairs apartment has a private entry with your private key code. You'll have access to multiple closets, screaming fast WiFi with your own dedicated router and password as well as multiple USB ports around the unit. A backyard outdoor living space with propane grill and outdoor shower is ready for you and your family to relax and enjoy sun and shade. Other things to note We might be upstairs upstairs during your stay. Each level of the house has separate entrances and are fully self-contained.
