Deer Trail Cabin 6 is on the shore of Lake Delta in the heart of Delta. Popular day trips include the Hayward lakes area, the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore and Bayfield or exploring the endless trails, waterfalls and wilderness within Bayfield County. This is a furnished two bedroom cabin with full kitchen and bath. Great view of Lake Delta and next to swimming beach. There is direct ATV trail access from your cabin but we ask that you do not ride around the property. The space Deer Trail is located in the heart of Bayfield County. Day trips include Hayward (40-minutes away), Bayfield (1-hour), or Duluth (1-hour). Within minutes, you can enjoy an authentic dining experience at Delta Diner or immerse yourself in the heart of the Chequamegon Forest at Rainbow Lake Wilderness area. Plenty of lakes to fish, kayak or canoe. Access the impressive trail systems for ATV/UTV, snowmobiles, Nordic skiing and fat tire biking. Or, just pull up a lawn chair and enjoy the calming affect of Lake Delta and the surrounding Northwoods! We are dog friendly (max of 2) but please be respectful and keep your dog with you and leashed at all times and clean-up after it. Failure to do so may result in you being asked to leave per condo association rules. We also charge a $50 per pet fee. Please let us know if you are bringing your pet when you book. Guest access Cabin amenities include linens but not towels. No network television but limited selection of DVDs, games and reading materials within cabin. We do have shared wi-fi on the premise. Rental fee includes access to all amenities on 40-acre grounds including swimming beach, basketball courts, playground, fire pit, canoes, kayak and area to clean fish. Please bring your own beach and shower towels, life jackets. You will have your own fire pit and charcoal grill but be sure to bring wood and charcoal. You will find a rowboat marked #6 that is yours to use. A trolling motor to further explore the lake and its outlets is also available to put on. Please read instructions carefully. Other things to note Please note, there are multiple units on this property. It was an old resort - and so each cabin has 2 units. There are 5 cabins right along the lake and then several additional homes. We do a 4-night minimum during Wisconsin's Deer Opener, 3-night minimum during the peak summer months and a 2-night minimum on major weekends such as Whistlestop and Birkie. Please contact us for last minute openings. We may be able to accommodate you. We want this to be the best vacation ever.
