The cottage is perfect for a couple or a single visitor. In a pinch, we can provide a foam mattress to put on the floor for a child traveling with you. The built-in bookshelves are stocked with a wide range of favorites and the private back deck—just right for a summer siesta—looks out on a sloping meadow. We are on ten acres. You are welcome to explore the property, walk the fields, and check out the garden(s) and greenhouse (and pick some tomatoes if you're here in the heart of the summer). While the main house is only 40 feet away, we are very quiet people and value your privacy. We welcome all guests and are very happy to greet you when you arrive and answer questions, though we also honor your privacy and let you enjoy your getaway. Our property is at the very end of a quiet 1/2-mile long, unpaved road, so expect to hear owls and frogs at night and birds in the morning.
