An hour drive to Jay's Peak resort. Excellent restaurants in the nearby town of St. Albans, or dine in world-class restaurants in Burlington or Montreal. Note: During August and into September, as in many fresh-water lakes, algae may be present. Dogs should be kept in the fenced-in yard, as algae is harmful to them. Swimming at Alburg Dunes State Park, where the lake is much deeper, would be a good option during the late summer season. Guest access Entire space is included in this rental. Please, make yourself at home. Enjoy the private deck at the cottage, or the main deck overlooking the lake. Other things to note The tap water is from a deep well, and is softened and filtered.
